When everything goes awry..........

So today resumed duty after a longggggggg sick leave. Thought will be bogged down by loads of work as we needed to take some quick action & set some procurement action rolling for some of future jobs.... so what did I face???

Firstly some of my colleagues dropped in to wish me/ say hi/ inquire about my newest acquisition (i.e., scarface).

Best part was when i got to realise that all our net connection, outlook mail, intra-net, SAP etc is hung for quite a few days .... icing was ----- realising that even our newly acquired office printer has also hung up its shoes & has rejected to do the usual printing chores.... All due to some deadly virus attack on our system.... God knows when our smarty Infy guys are going to repair it. Till then we will be purely like "sarkari karmachari ----- minus the desktops" ;)

My best buddy has come down to India & will be meeting her in Dec 24th. So it will be almost 2/3 years since I last met her...... Infact if i come to think about the relation that I share with her, it will pretty much amaze any sane people like how could we stuck around for so so many years.... we were as different as chalk & cheese back in our college days ..... yet there some great sisterly bonding that has proved more stronger over the years.

Stitch - Unstitch updates

So after nearly a fortnight, got my stitches cut....... thought it wud pain like shit. But doc-scissorhand was sweet enough to divert my attention with his smooth talks. Just hope i dont scare off all the baccha parties of my locality with my newest "scarface" ;)

Some people are real moron... like our "baba*****" ..... That fellow is so screwed up that he can be a unique piece for the scientific laboratory where the research guys can do some heavy duty studies on his so called pseudo psychic power of healing. Or be sent to the interview round of Roadies audition to face the gaali-assault of Raghu. Now that would be a real delight as also my partner-in-crime... (err...work) "paa-ji" would also vouch for. Wot say???

Was really harping to watch "Transporter-3" @ Inox (11pm show) tonight. But have to settle for some "Maharathi" as the "Maharathi" I am going out with sleeps by 11pm like a good babadhan. So inorder to let babadhan sleep in his assigned time schedule, will be watching the 8.20 pm show of "Maharathi". Just hoping that it turns out to be a good watch else am gonna doze off there by 9.00pm. Talking of "Transporter"... I remember watching the earlier Part-II in Baroda with some of my colleagues ( CC, MTV etc..etc). Our expectation from that movie was some good action as we happened to enjoy the Original Part-I movie. Instead we had laughed off our head by watching those "comic action" scenes. Hats off to Hollywood for packaging such absurd movies which becomes hit everywhere from East to West.... & we sniggered on "Aparachit".... one of my favorite cum worst nightmares.

Doc ---- the scissor hand!!!!!

Been blogging after loooooooooooong hiatus. Part was my mistake in not managing my time frame & do some blogging....
So what did I do or not do this last 8/9 months?????
Obviously nothing interesting but got involved in a nasty accident (again my fault) and got stiched up twice (in my face/chin). In the last stich case, I got operated & got stitched up pretty well. Doc had happily done some good fashionista sewing that I can give Mr. Jack Sparrow a run for his money... (as commented by Mr. Sapceman)...;)

Dumb, Dumber, Dumbest

The Prize (of being Dumb, dumber, Dumbest)...... should come unanimously to MEH!!!!!
Reason: Watching some crappy flick titled "10,000 B.C." I must have been out of my mind to opt for this flick (late night show) with that "P"-brained friend of mine. For example I could have spent my time doing 10 more useful/ useless things during that time, viz,
1) Slept......Zzzzz
2) Watched documentary of "Jarwa" tribe of Andamans & Nicobar on some Discovery Channel which would have been more realistic in depicting the homosapiens of that era.
3) Finished that Sherlock Holmes story : "A Study in Scarlet".
4) Cooked a nice dinner (been ages since I visited my kitchen:)
5) Accompanied my mom & malati di to a game of "Chineese checkers".
6) Sang along with Ms Chapman's "Change".
7) Dabbled around with my unfinished sketches.
8) Solve some "Fault calculation" problems.
9) Leafed thru' the piles of "Hydrocarbon-Processing" mags untouched since long in my room.
10) Lastly Put on some music & tranced away a la"Chaitanya mahaprabhu" with arms outstretched et al.

Ruminations

Need to find some tips about how to talk sense with a psycho. Maybe I should try the agony aunt columns!!!!!
On second thoughts, WTF, maybe its not worth it.

crick....crick.....crick.....

I usually put my alarm for 6.50am.... but drag myself from slumber at around 7am. After finishing all the morning chores including a cuppa nice hot steaming coffee, I perch myself infront of the idiot box with the morning news paper. Generally I prefer watching ndtv or some other news channel.

So yesterday, flicked on channel no. 532 (NDTV 24X7). What I get to hear & see??? First how much was the score of the ongoing Aussie-India test match in detail.... with all sort of footage from every possible & perceivable angles. I prayed hard that some other news would crop up after this. What I see next?

Mr. Blabbermouth Siddhu talking away to glory with his trademark repertiore of idioms & his own metaphors with the sprinkling of crick jargons. OMG... I didnot want to start my day watching this, of all other thing. Maybe Aastha or even some SUN TV would have been better choice than suffering the banterings of the original turbanator !!! Anyway, switched to Aajtak..... same old story repeated there. Out of sheer anguish, flicked to channel no. 725 ( VH1) expecting some cardio videos which they generally show in the morning slots & which I basically dont like much. Hopefully saw Morissette crooning away " I grieve, I learn.... I fall, I learn"... Oh what a bliss!!! After some more songs, finally they aired one of my fav. "La bamba"... I knew my day would be good if not better:)
